Choosing a higher education institution is one of those decisions that will subsequently affect the rest of your life. And if you decide to get a medical education, then you should approach the choice of a university as responsibly and carefully as possible. Actually, the list of all medical institutes and universities in Moscow is given above, so in a short text review it makes sense to dwell on other aspects of medical education.

Medical specialties

Most specialties are collected in the “Health and Medical Sciences” section, the most popular subsection of which is “Clinical Medicine”. It contains those specialties in which the largest number of students are trained, who will subsequently be directly involved in treatment. The most popular specialties, as usual, are general: general medicine, pediatrics and dentistry. Further specialization is possible within the framework of residency.

Traditionally, competition for admission to medical universities is large and depends on the specialty. While it is extremely difficult to get into public places in dentistry and general medicine, clinical psychology and pharmacy are in less demand. In addition to the mandatory Unified State Examination in Russian language and mathematics, you are usually required to pass an exam in biology and/or chemistry.

In the capital of our country, the choice of universities where you can get high-quality specialization within the most humane profession is very extensive. Let's get acquainted with Moscow higher educational institutions, where both native Muscovites and city guests, Russians and foreign citizens are welcome.
