In general, I decided, they say, the rich you are, the happier you are, you can warn, in the end, and decided to cook boiled potatoes and make meatballs in mushroom sauce for it. Just the right ingredients were on hand.

I set the potatoes to boil, took up the meatballs, preparing them is simple - mix half a kilo of minced meat with one egg, pepper, salt, shape into meatballs and fry over high heat until golden brown.

He suggested that while the food was being prepared, we should go to the balcony to smoke and talk about this and that. And he chatted me up so much with his stories that we had already left the balcony when my husband entered the apartment, and his first question was “Why does this stink so much??” I hit myself on the forehead: “Potato!!!” and run to the kitchen, headlong.

Recipe meatballs in creamy mushroom sauce:

Peel the onion, cut into cubes and fry in vegetable oil until soft. Cool.

Add peeled and pressed garlic to the minced meat, beat in the egg, add cooled fried onion.


Mix the minced meat with additives thoroughly, add salt and spices to taste.


With wet hands, form the minced meat into small round meatballs.


Pour two or three tablespoons of flour into a plate and roll the meatballs in it one by one on all sides.


Place the prepared meatballs in a heated frying pan with vegetable oil.


Fry over medium heat until browned, then turn over and fry on the other side.


Place the fried meatballs in a fireproof baking dish.


Now let's prepare the creamy mushroom sauce. To do this, fry the mushrooms in vegetable oil until the liquid evaporates. Salt and pepper.


Add the remaining flour (1-2 tbsp) to the mushrooms and stir.


Slowly pour in the cream. Stirring constantly, cook the creamy mushroom sauce until thickened. If you want, add spices, salt, herbs to taste.


Pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs and place in the oven. Bake at 180 degrees for about half an hour.

Let's take ready-made minced turkey; you can also prepare it yourself from breast fillet or thigh fillet. Add chopped onions and bread pulp to the minced meat.

Beat the ingredients for minced meat with a blender. Add chopped garlic, salt and pepper to the minced meatballs. Mix.

Now let's prepare the mushroom sauce for the meatballs. Peel the carrots and onions. The carrots must be grated and the onion finely chopped. Fry onions and carrots in refined vegetable oil.

Champignon mushrooms, washed, peeled and cut. Add to the frying with onions and carrots.

Simmer the mushrooms and vegetables over low heat for 10-15 minutes, then add tomato paste and sour cream. You can also use fresh tomatoes instead of tomato paste.

Salt to taste, add a mixture of dry herbs (I use Italian), add 250 ml of water and mix all the ingredients.

We form small meatballs from the minced meat and place them in a frying pan in the sauce.

Cook covered over medium heat for 20-25 minutes.

Sprinkle the finished meatballs with herbs.

Meatballs in mushroom sauce are ready. Serve for lunch or dinner.

Preparation:
1. Mince the meat or buy ready-made minced meat.

3. Boil the rice until cooked. Let cool slightly.

5. Form meatballs with a diameter of approximately 4.5 - 5 cm. Roll in flour. Place in a heated frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry on all sides (takes about 5 minutes); do not close the lid. Then pour 1 cup of boiling water into the pan so that the water reaches half the level of the meatballs. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
6. Add cream or sour cream and flour to half a glass of warm water. Mix well so that there are no lumps. Pour into the pan. Mix everything well. Simmer for another 10 - 15 minutes.

I prepared this dish today - meatballs with gravy in the oven, then I re-read Julia’s story, and I have no words how to describe the deliciousness that turned out. In the end, in Yulia’s words, it’s truly beautiful, stunning and simply amazing!

Without thinking right away, I’m posting this recipe in the holiday dishes section. Despite the fact that I’ve been cooking a lot lately and different dishes, we haven’t eaten such delicious food for a long time. This dish can easily be prepared for some holiday, New Year, to welcome dear guests, etc.

I usually made meatballs in tomato sauce and never fried them. Besides, I’ve never tried milk-cream sauce with mushrooms, and in vain! It's just a magical taste, but let's talk about everything in order.

First I cook the meatballs. To prepare them you will need:

I have minced pork, but you can use any minced meat - 500 grams

cabbage - quarter fork. I deviated a little from Yulia’s original recipe and added finely shredded cabbage. It will make the meatballs even juicier.

cream - half a glass (you can only use milk, as Julia advises, but I decided to add a little cream)

I cut the onions and carrots and fried them until golden brown.

Finely chopped the mushrooms and put them in a frying pan, frying them for 7 minutes.

I put the flour in a frying pan and fried it a little.

I mixed the cream with milk and poured it in a thin stream into the frying pan, stirring.

You need enough milk to cover the mushrooms and vegetables. I added salt.

Let the sauce simmer for about three minutes until it thickens before your eyes.

Then I poured the creamy sauce with mushrooms over the meatballs and put the pan in the oven to bake at 200 degrees for 25 minutes.

This beauty came out of the oven.

While the meatballs were cooking in the oven, I set the potatoes to boil. Then I put potatoes and meatballs on the dish, while everything hot was grated with cheese on top - this is also an important point. The cheese immediately melted and gave the finished dish an even more refined taste.
