He who believes in the son of God has eternal life. Christian mission "the river flows". John 5:11 – “This is this testimony, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”

He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him

“Believe in the Son to have eternal life.” Not simply and not without searching, the wise Baptist testifies, life is offered to those who believe in Christ as a reward, but from the very, so to speak, quality of the deed, he presents us with proof, since the Only Begotten is life by nature, “In Him we live and move and we are”(Acts 17:28) He dwells in us, of course, through faith and dwells through the Holy Spirit. Blessed John the Evangelist will testify to this in his Epistles: “We understand this, as it is in us, as He has given us of His Spirit.”(1 John 4:13) . So, Christ gives life to those who believe in Him, both Himself being life by nature, and then already indwelling them. And that the Son dwells in us through faith, Paul certifies this, saying this: “For this reason I bow my knees to the Father, from Him the whole family in heaven and on earth is named, that He may give you glory according to the riches.” you just “Be strengthened by His Spirit, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.”(Eph. 3:14–17) . When, therefore, life by nature penetrates into us through faith, then how is it not true that he says: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life”? Obviously, the Son Himself, and not any other life, must be understood besides Him.

“He who does not believe the Son will not see life.” But is it really possible, perhaps someone will say, that the Baptist preaches to us about another glory and destroys the doctrine of the resurrection, claiming that the believer will be quickened, and the unbeliever "will not see life" at all? Apparently, not everyone will be resurrected, which is the difference this saying indicates. And in this case, what will happen to the words spoken unconditionally and to everyone: "the dead will rise"(1 Cor. 15:52) ? Why would Paul say: “For it is fitting for us all to appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that everyone may receive what they have done with their body, either good or evil.”(2 Cor. 5:10) ?

Although I consider it due to praise such an inquisitive person, he still needs to do a more accurate study of the Holy Scriptures. Notice the clear difference in expressions that I will point out to you. He says about the believer that he will have eternal life, but in the saying about the unbeliever he uses a different expression. He did not say that he would not have life, for he would be resurrected according to the general law of resurrection, but he said that “he won’t see life”, that is, he will not even reach the simple contemplation of the life of the saints, will not touch their bliss, will not taste their joy. After all, this is the only real life. Breathing in the midst of punishment is more painful than any death, and the soul is kept in the body for the mere sensation of evil. Paul makes this difference between life. Listen to what he says to those who have died to sin for Christ’s sake: “For you have died, and your life is hidden in God with Christ: when Christ appears, your life, then you will appear with Him in glory.”(Col. 3:3–4) . You see what he calls the life of the saints when they appear in glory with Christ. The Psalmist sings the same to us: “Who is a man who, even if he loves his life, sees good things? Keep your tongue from evil"(Ps. 33:13–14) . Isn't this the life of the saints depicted here? But I think this is clear to everyone. Not for this purpose, of course, he commands someone to refrain from evil in order to receive the revival of the flesh again, for they will be resurrected even if they did not stop evil, but he encourages someone to a life in which one can see good days, spending them in glory and eternal life in bliss.

“But the wrath of God remains on him.” In this addition, the blessed Baptist showed us more clearly the purpose of what was said. Let the inquisitive person turn his attention again to the meaning of this saying. "Unbelieving", speaks, “The son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.” But if it were really possible to understand this saying in the sense that the unbeliever will be deprived of life in the body, then, probably, the Baptist would immediately add: “but “death” remains on him.” Because he calls "wrath of God", then obviously contrasts the punishment of the wicked with the bliss of the saints and calls life true life in glory with Christ, and the punishment of the wicked is the wrath of God. That in the Holy Scriptures punishment is often called wrath, I will present two witnesses to this - Paul and John (the Baptist). One said to those converting from the pagans: “And the children of wrath are by nature, like the rest”

- John 3:36

Such people who hear the word, but do not devote themselves to fulfilling it and applying it in their lives, live in error and self-deception. They cannot experience the healing and liberating power of truth because, by holding fast to untruth, they suppress and choke the truth (Rom. 1:18). A lot of problems will arise with such people, since they want not only to remain in disobedience themselves, but also to fight against the real preachers of liberating truth. Our only opportunity to help them is to call them to submit to the Lordship of Jesus through the practical acceptance of the Word of God. But if they do not want this, then they cannot remain in fellowship with true believers. The Lord promised to intercede for the preached truth and cleanse His church. Their folly will be exposed to everyone, says verse 9. This means that true believers will grow in maturity to such an extent that the difference will be clearly seen between the true followers of the Lord and the fellow travelers on the bandwagon who fear true submission to the Lord and cling tightly to their own ideas. Our consolation in this moment of chaos is that in the end the church will be pure and strong, truly reflecting the essence of the Lord, His beauty, love, mercy and holiness. This spiritual outlook gives fighters strong hope in their fight against the spirit of this world.

And then again you will see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not serve Him.

- Malachi 3:18

As servants of God, we dedicate ourselves to the truth and allow it to rule our lives. Truth does not come from our feelings or opinions, but from the written Word of God. It is the constant basis of our life and ministry. Because we believe that the Word is given by God, it is able to unleash its power of reproof, correction, and instruction in us.

Paul continues to describe the conflict in the end-time church and points out the ingredients for success. Success in our service to the Lord begins with unlocking the power of God's Word in our own hearts.

Evil people and deceivers will prosper in evil, deceiving and being deceived. And you continue in what you have been taught and what has been entrusted to you, knowing by whom you were taught; Moreover, from childhood you know the sacred scriptures, which can make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

- 2 Timothy 3:13-17

Since there is a connection between faith in the Divine authority of the Word and the work of the Word in us, the enemy in a special way attempts to attack the church in this regard. He wants to present Scripture as the product of human labor using all sorts of pseudoscientific arguments. If we resist these temptations and look at Scripture as the Word of God that it truly is, it can work in us.

Therefore, we unceasingly thank God that, having received the word of God that you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but as the word of God - as it truly is - which acts in you who believe.

- 1 Thessalonians 2:13

God's Word brings about a profound liberation in believers that cannot be achieved in any other way. Only the Word of God separates soul and spirit and brings to light the hidden motives of our hearts (Heb. 4:12-13). Insincerity, falsehood, selfish ambition and other destructive motives of behavior disappear from our lives. There will be more and more light in us, and it will shine more and more brightly through us.

Reverent and constant devotion to the written Word of God will produce in us the fear of the Lord, as described, for example, in Deuteronomy.

But when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, he must copy for himself a copy of this law from the book that is kept by the priests of the Levites, and let him have it, and let him read it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the Lord his God, and tried to fulfill all the words of this law and these regulations; so that his heart would not be puffed up before his brothers, and so that he would not turn aside from the law, either to the right or to the left, so that he and his sons might remain in his kingdom for many days in the midst of Israel.

- Deuteronomy 17:18-20

For additional help in dealing with God's Word, see the chapter “A New Heart.” But just studying and applying the Word of God is not enough. We need something else. How else can we explain the fact that there are so many people who have vast amounts of Bible knowledge and yet have no power of reproof? Therefore, let us turn to the following very important point to answer the question: How can our swords become sharp again?

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has eternal life and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

He who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

When Christ, your life, appears, then you will appear with Him in glory.

He who believes in the Son has eternal life, and he who does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

And whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life.

He who reaps receives his reward and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that both he who sows and he who reaps will rejoice together.

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Search the Scriptures, for through them you think you have eternal life; and they testify of Me.

Do not strive for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, for the Father, God, has set His seal on Him.

For the bread of God is the one that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.

He who loves his soul will destroy it; but he who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.

For life has appeared, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you this eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us.

I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that by believing in the Son of God you have eternal life.

The promise that He promised us is eternal life.

To those who, through constancy in good deeds, seek glory, honor and immortality, eternal life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

He said to him: Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. If you want to enter eternal life, keep the commandments.

... but if our outer man is decaying, then our inner man is being renewed from day to day.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. Jesus said to him: You answered correctly; do this and you will live.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever. He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life. John 6:51–54

That is why we sigh, wanting to put on our heavenly dwelling; As long as we don’t end up naked even though we’re dressed.

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.

John 6:47 – “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me has eternal life.”

John 6:54 – “He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life,
and I will raise him up at the last day"

1 John 5:11 – “This is this testimony, that God has given us eternal life,
and this life is in His Son"

1 John 5:13 – “I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you
By believing in the Son of God, you have eternal life."

Problem:

Evangelicals, Pentecostals and the Gospel Hall church emphasize these verses. Since John uses the past tense “has eternal life,” they are declaring that believers have eternal life now—their eternal security is guaranteed.

Solution:

1. Almost without exception, those who claim to have life "eternal security" also believe in the immortality of the soul. But if believers, as well as non-believers, have an immortal soul, then what can we say about eternal life, which Jesus promised to give to believers?

2. If the argument is made that "being saved" believers are immune from hellfire and the lake of fire, where does John's Gospel and Epistles teach this?

3. Where can we get objective evidence that a “saved person” is truly saved? He may say that he is saved, but how can one know for certain that such statements of his are true?

4. The "saved" argument in the above passages rests on a misunderstanding of the use of grammatical tenses in John's writings. John uses the past tense when talking about future events to emphasize the certainty of their outcome. Take a look at the following examples:

  • “The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand” (John 3:35). But the writer of Hebrews says clearly: “Now we do not yet see that all things are subjected to him” (2:8).
  • “I have overcome the world” (John 16:33), but Garden of Gethsemane was still ahead.
  • “I... have finished the work that You gave Me to do” (John 17:4). However, Jesus still had to die “for our sins according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3).
  • “And the glory that You gave Me, I have given them...” (John 17:22). But believers will not receive final glorification until Christ returns and receives eternal life (Col. 1:27 cf. 2 Tim. 2:10-12).
  • “...let them see My glory which You have given Me” (John 17:24). Jesus was not yet glorified until his ascension (Luke 24:26; 1 Tim. 3:16).
  • See also Romans 4:17-21. Isaac was not yet born at the time his father received the promises; 2 Timothy 1:10. But people are still dying and will continue to die until the end of the Millennial Kingdom, when death will be destroyed (cf. 1 Cor. 15:24-28).

5. In a similar way, eternal life is spoken of as if it could be possessed now, although it will only be granted in the future, “at the last day.” This is proved in two ways: A) By showing that John refers to eternal life, given on the last day; B) By citing other New Testament references that show that eternal life and final salvation are still future attributes.

Here is evidence to support this:

  • Eternal life will be given on the “last day”:
    • “Now this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I should destroy nothing, but raise it all up on the last day"(John 6:39).
    • “This is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day"(John 6:40).
    • “He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day"(John 6:54).
    • Eternal life is promised (1 John 2:24,25), but remains in the Son (1 John 5:11) until “ last day”, when it will be given to true believers.

  • Other passages that indicate that eternal life is not available to believers today:
    • « In hope eternal life, which God, who cannot change in word, promised before the ages began” (Titus 1:2).
    • “That, being justified by His grace, we according to hope(in hope) made heirs of eternal life" (Titus 3:7 compare with Romans 8:24 - "For we are saved in hope. But hope that sees is not hope; for if a man seeth, what shall he hope for? ?).
    • “And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous to eternal life"(Matthew 25:46 compare with Dan.12:2). The context of this passage indicates that the righteous will be judged first and then invited to enter into eternal life (Matt. 25:31-46). This implies that the righteous do not have eternal life before entering into it.
  • Salvation in its final form will come in the future:
    • "For now closer salvation to us than when we believed” (Rom. 13:11). If salvation was nearer than when the saints believed, they obviously did not possess it in the present.
    • “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to serve those who have inherit the rescue?" (Heb. 1:14). The heir cannot own the property in the present.
    • "...in the helmet hope salvation" (1 Thess. 5:8). A person does not need to hope for what he already possesses.

Is anger inherent in God?

Anger, as a feeling, was born as a result of the Fall. In other words, anger is provoked by sin.

Of course, anger itself often becomes a sin, but not necessarily. For example, the wrath of God is a necessary attribute of His Judgment, and one cannot do without the element of wrath in defending justice.

So, if anger as a feeling was born as a result of the Fall, then God was not angry in eternity. He was unaware of this state until the occasion arose. In eternity He experienced nothing but love. Love between the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

But today He is angry. He is angry at all the injustice that happens in the world.

Even though the Pope is angry, He still restrains His main anger. Although it appears occasionally somewhere in history. For example, He showed His anger at Sodom and Gomorrah.

Although the Pope has not yet given vent to his pent-up anger, this wrath literally hangs over anyone who consciously rejects faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus:

He who does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36)

It is important to understand: anger is not inherent in God. Because the cause of anger is unnatural – sin.

Since God did not create anyone to sin, the manifestation of His wrath is cause and effect. The original purpose of creation is to live in harmony, love and obedience to the Creator, and the creation that deviated from this purpose did not deviate through the fault or will of the Creator. Because it was Papa God who created everyone for love.

Because anger is not inherent in God, He:

Wrath was manifested in the character of God, but it is not in the nature of God. The nature of God is love, and anger always needs an external reason to manifest itself. You don't need a reason to show love. The Father's love is unconditional and never fails. While His anger is only causal and temporary.

Rise of the Angels

For the first time, the Pope had to experience anger when the devil, then still an anointed cherub, sinned.

Before the advent of sin, creation did not know God to be angry. The devil too. Otherwise, he would hardly have gone into open rebellion.

Let us ask ourselves: did the Creator have the right to immediately pour out his wrath in response to the open rebellion of the angels? Without a doubt. After all, He is the Judge.

We do not know for sure what the law was, which the rebel creation probably transgressed, (Isa.45:12) but it is safe to assume that such a law was to regulate life in heaven and to forbid the sin that the devil had committed. And that's why:

Here we see 2 key principles:

1) violation of the law automatically angers the author of the law.
2) As long as there is no pre-established law, there is no violation of it

The second statement clearly explains the first:
breaking the law automatically angers the author of the law, because If there were no pre-established law, there would be no violation of it.

For example, when a radiologist hangs a “do not enter” sign on the door to the office, otherwise there is a threat to the health of those in the corridor, then someone entering without calling will automatically cause the beginnings of anger in the doctor. And if the doctor didn’t put up such a sign, then why be angry?

Likewise, the rebels could not have been charged without a pre-established law.

We see here that God imputed two things to the cherub: iniquity and sin. Although in reality it was one thing.

Lawlessness can be another name for breaking the law.

Violation is charged only in the territory where the law applies. You can't break something that doesn't exist. And where there is a violation, anger for it is inevitable.

When the rebels' plan was finally revealed, the Pope did not pour out His anger on them. Otherwise, they would have long ago ended up at least in the abyss. And at most in the lake of fire.

The demons are well aware that the punishment has been postponed. When they encountered Jesus in the Gadarene country, they appealed to him with precisely this understanding.

Perhaps the Pope postponed the execution of the punishment so that the creation that remained faithful to Him could see the final corruption of the fallen and be convinced of the justice of the final sentence for them, no matter how exaggerated it may seem at first.

Other possible reason: so that the creation will never again dare to do such things in the future; so that it learns to serve God out of love for God, and not out of fear of a superior force, supposedly ready to instantly destroy the dissenter.

But mainly, Daddy God postponed the demonstration of final wrath, due to the fact that He still spares the unbelievers living on earth, read rebellious people, for whom there is still a chance to be saved.

Although God did not deprive the rebel angels of their freedom, He separated them from His presence, banishing them beyond the outer boundaries of heaven into what came to be called the Kingdom of Satan, or the heavenly places. Everything happened during a lightning-fast military operation:

The Lord Jesus reminds us of this important event To the 70 disciples upon their return from the encounter (mass exorcism): “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning” (Luke 10:18).

“Saw” is in the past tense, that is, we are talking about an event in the past. The Lord seems to notice:

“You say the demons obey you? That's another thing. I saw how all the demons were cast out into heaven at once. It happened before My eyes, and it happened as quickly as lightning flashes.”

After the expulsion of Satan and his angels into the region of heaven, Papa God executed judgment on them in heaven. This event is also mentioned in Scripture.

Since Satan had not yet been captured, the case had to be decided in the absence of a defendant. The fact that such matters are started in heaven is indirectly evidenced by the following passage: (Num. 16:49)

During the trial of Lucifer, he and his accomplices were charged and the final verdict was passed. A lake of fire was prepared for its fulfillment. (Cooked (Matt. 25:41) -hetoimazo- make ready for consumption).

The judgment was announced on the ground through God's Son, who was the first to inform those living on earth that the prince of this world, that is, the devil, is condemned (John 16:11), -and that the devil and his angels are destined for eternal fire (Matt. 25:41).

At the end of Christ's 1,000-year reign on Earth, which will culminate in the White Throne Judgment, the expression of the Pope's wrath will cease and will never be resumed.

There will be no more reason for anger. No one else will give him a reason. Everyone will remember the horrific consequences of the Fall and will have as an eternal reminder the opportunity to observe a panoramic view of the place where worms and fire will be visible tormenting the condemned.

That is why we will always fear and at the same time love God infinitely, remembering how once, incarnated as a man, He redeemed us at the cost of incredible suffering on the cross.

The difference between the wrath of God and man.

Let us compare the wrath of God and the wrath of man.
What is there in the wrath of God that is not in the wrath of man?

First of all, the Pope is just in His anger and never goes beyond the bounds of satisfied justice. In His anger He doesn't_go_to_the_emotions . In other words, God controls His anger and gives it vent when needed and as much as needed. At the same time, He alone knows when and how much is needed.

When a person gets angry, he inevitably boils over. He knows no boundaries and does not set them. He wants to immediately throw out his anger and loses measure in this. Emotions control him, not he emotions.

Human anger is inevitably biased, biased and prejudiced. It only seems to a person that it is fair. He does not take into account all the nuances that the Holy Spirit sees. For example, it does not take into account the degree of pressure that the person who committed the offense experienced and thereby caused our indignation.

Experiencing anger, God simultaneously grieves over the lost state of man and seeks a chance to acquire it for Himself. He alone can combine these two feelings:

When and why does God need anger? God's wrath is necessary as an instrument of judgment. We see this from the following verse:

If God is a Judge, then as a Judge He can and must express His anger. God's wrath is righteous, that is, it always results in restored justice. The Pope's wrath to protect the righteous.

Unlike human anger. Because:

In other words: a person’s anger does not lead to justice being restored in the right way, as it does with God, and therefore demons of anger are usually involved in the manifestation of human anger.

Someone will ask: does this mean that God can show anger, but man cannot?

Having faith and a good conscience, which some rejected, suffered shipwreck in faith; such are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I handed over to Satan so that they would learn not to blaspheme.

Although such anger is inspired by the Holy Spirit, it still has strict limits, beyond which a person of authority has no right. This is fraught with extremely undesirable consequences for him.

Anger is a powerful tool of judgment; there is a high risk of misusing it. The one time Moses failed to control or restrain his anger, it cost him entry into the Promised Land.

If Saul, king of Israel, won his first battle, filled with righteous anger at his enemies, and this was a direct action of the Holy Spirit (1 Samuel 11:6), then subsequently he began to abuse anger, which is why he began to suffer from a gloomy mood. In fits of anger, he was already specifically tormented by an evil spirit.

This is why the right to righteous anger must be delegated to those who have the mature fruit of the Spirit. When he judges, he is not appointed to judge, or does not have authority, such, Jesus says, he judges with external judgment, he judges according to the flesh.

Dad, as a Judge, is angry. And he judges with righteous judgment. In the same way, he who has his own area of \u200b\u200bresponsibility is angry as a judge, and as a judge, he judges with righteous judgment. Everyone else inevitably carries out lynching.

Those who in the church are entrusted with the right to judge internal, that is, sinning believers, and in particular cases of resistance to the Gospel, even non-believers, cannot do without the element of anger in their emotions. (Acts 13:8-11)

By showing anger, judges do not lose control of themselves. Like God, a righteous Judge does not lose control of himself when he is angry. In this case, the Holy Spirit, as a rule, confirms the verdict.

The wrath of the righteous man with delegated authority is not in defense of his own interests, but in defense of the interests of the Kingdom. Much of this anger relates to the ministry of elders. Either the elders of Israel during the Old Testament times, or the elders of the New Testament church.

It is the elders who have to sort it out conflict situations. It is the elders who control themselves in crisis situations and can control emotions...

The elders, they are elders, they are spiritual, they are mature - these are those who can remain impartial, unbiased in judgment and extremely careful not to cross the boundaries of what is permitted in the use of severity in the authority given to them by the Lord. If possible, they would rather avoid the use of such severity than show it. (2 Cor. 13:10)

Paul mentions wrath here as the severity delegated to him by the Lord to judge those within.

Do you see? Paul's appeal is exclusively to the spiritual. Only the spiritual is given responsibility in the church. Only the spiritual has the competence to deal with correction. When a non-spiritual person takes on the task of correction, it ends badly. He inevitably crosses the line of what is permitted by the Spirit and falls into carnal emotions.

Therefore, the core circle of saints needs to focus on the common commandment not to judge, which means not to be angry at all.

The anger of a person, whether a believer or an unbeliever, in defense of the wounded interests of the person himself. That’s why it’s called “human wrath.” This is what we will consider further.

Human anger is inspired by wounded emotions and is divided into fair And vain.

Fair Everyone experiences anger at different times, since everyone has a God-given sense of justice, while everyone who is angry in vain, is immediately subject to trial: (Matt. 5:22) .

Although fair Everyone has anger, but only for a limited time:

This type of anger cannot be vented through angry utterances or impulsive actions in response.

Summarizing what has been said, let's summarize: a person usually gets angry
-or, speaking on behalf of God, as a person bearing responsibility,
-or on your own behalf...

Let's consider the verse of Scripture just quoted in context. What are we talking about here? About anger on one's own behalf;
- while you feel such anger, even though it is thrice just, do not give it a way out;
- when experiencing this type of anger, extinguish it as soon as possible;
- otherwise you will inevitably give room to the devil through evil words or actions.

The conclusion from what has been said: all saints can from time to time experience anger within themselves, as a response to injustice shown to them personally, but at the same time they should not allow this anger to manifest themselves and should try to extinguish it at the level of feeling.

Human anger: features.

In the overwhelming majority of cases, Scripture warns us precisely against human or domestic_anger . The vented anger of a fool is uncontrollable internal discontent expressed in external irritable action.

According to the above verse: holding back even just anger is wisdom, but pouring out it is foolishness.

Let's return to the nature of anger. Let's remember how it arises: (Rom.4:15)

The righteous law produces righteous wrath, and the law of men produces the wrath of men. Even a biblical law or a biblical requirement becomes human, the fulfillment of which we demand or expect from others, and not God. Which, by the way, is why we get angry with human anger, even for the right reason.

In other words, when on a personal level we present our demands to our neighbor, even biblical ones: whether to a brother or a matchmaker, and he, the matchmaker, does not fulfill these demands, anger boils within us. This is an immutable spiritual principle. It is as if we are being made Judges of the law, which is actually not true.

When we do not restrain such simmering anger by faith, we inevitably cross the line where we become guilty before God.

Until one of our relatives, friends or acquaintances meets our expectations, even very good ones, we feel unsatisfied.

Dissatisfaction within us constantly produces anger, even if it looks like sluggish grumpiness.

We don't consider grumpiness to be as bad as yelling, for example. Actually this is not true.

When King Asa became angry, he was precisely irritated and nothing more. However, the consequences of this were more than disappointing for him.

Thus, by imposing a law on our neighbor and not seeing that our neighbor is in a hurry to fulfill it, we experience anger. God imposes the law, not us. Under no circumstances should we take the place of the Author of the law.

By constantly feeling angry at how others misbehave, we accept a controlling spirit and act irresponsibly in it. We must decisively get rid of this. We must learn to accept our neighbor as he is. It is enough to tell a person once and, if he did not listen to us, we should leave him alone so that God, and not us, can change him. We should always remain content in every situation.

Because “satisfied” is not necessary when everything around you suits you. You are “content” when you decide not to suffer from the way others behave.

You feel good no matter how others behave. People around you will always give you reasons for dissatisfaction. Whether we refuse to take advantage of this opportunity, that is the decision.

Therefore: being content is a choice. Because you are not a victim of circumstance, but free from its influence. Son or daughter of the Heavenly Pope.

Your contentment does not depend on what happens around you.
Your contentment depends on what happens inside you.
Simply give control over your emotions to the Holy Spirit.
Learn to manage your emotional sphere with His help.

To do this, use the faith given to you.
And the people who annoy you will correct themselves.
And regardless of your experiences.
And certainly not within the time frame you set.

The consequences of human anger...

What it means to treat prudently is explained by the following, verse 9: do not repay with abuse; in other words, don't be angry.

The next consequence of anger, which we have already mentioned, is the breaking of fellowship with the saints.

A person prone to anger is also prone to stir up conflict; he quickly loses friends and does not maintain long-term friendships. His temper has a repulsive effect on those around him, like a poke in the nose until it bleeds.

When two people who are prone to anger come together, their relationship falls apart even faster. It boiled a little. They almost ran away.

Anyone who is close to an irritable person always feels bad because of his eternal irritability. Solomon says: it is easier to bear the weight of a stone than such anger.

A difficult character is a burden to those around you. Being in an atmosphere of grumpiness is a real test of faith. The more filled with the Spirit you are, the more sensitive you are to such contentiousness. Scientists say: a flash of anger takes away the energy of an entire working day.

This is how an angry person will fall out of the circle of fellowship of believers.

An angry person rarely realizes that it is something wrong with him, and not with someone else. He does not understand that he is unnoticeably degrading, and not just not growing in the Spirit.

Leonardo Da Vinci painted " last supper"For about forty years, being in constant search for models for the faces of Christ and the apostles. At the very beginning of his work, he was attracted by the surprisingly gentle facial features of the young man Pietro Bondinelli. Pietro Bondinelli agreed to pose and Leonardo painted an image of Christ from him.
40 years later, while searching for a model for the last character in the painting of Judas, Leonardo encountered a man who had just been released from prison. Leonardo was delighted with his find. The tramp's face bore all the traces of anger and malice necessary for a portrait of Judas. When the great master began to paint the face of Judas from this tramp, he was surprised to recognize in him the once gentle young man Pietro Bondinelli. Sin played a terrible joke on Pietro. Having gone down in history as a model for the most beautiful character in the picture - Jesus Christ, 40 years later he came up as a model for the most repulsive - for Judas. When viewers today look at a picture and compare two characters in it: the Lord and His traitor, no one, without the necessary explanations, realizes that this is one and the same person.

Another consequence of anger is torment from the devil.

We allow this to happen if we flare up over trifles, like a match. The consequences of this illness, mental problems and other troubles are like a constant payment for a nervous state.

If you suffer damage because of anger, there is no point in saying: the devil attacked me. The devil attacked, but who allowed it? Don't blame everything on the devil. We must honestly admit to God the sin of contentiousness, and then resolutely control it. An example of the punishment that an angry person punished himself during his lifetime:

Here is an example of a person who managed to tame his anger:

It is interesting that Asa acquired the disease out of anger at the man of God, and Naaman got rid of it by being able to tame such anger.

The final consequence of untamed anger is the danger of losing salvation. This consequence cannot be passed over in silence; the New Testament speaks clearly about it.

Let us ask ourselves whether it is necessary to violate the entire list in order to fall under the definition: “will not inherit the Kingdom”? Naturally not. He who violates one point of the law is guilty of violating the entire law. To go to hell, you don’t have to drink, it’s enough to kill; You don’t have to commit adultery, it’s enough to practice magic. For every single deed of the flesh, a person runs the risk of not inheriting the Kingdom of God. And among these individual works of the flesh, it is anger that appears!

Having crossed the line of death, many Christians who have justified anger under various pretexts will experience shock. They will find out that, it turns out, Jesus did not throw words into the wind and did not say anything just like that. His warnings must be taken literally.

In a CFAN ministry documentary by Reinhard Bonke about a resurrected Nigerian pastor, a black pastor tells how, after dying in a car accident, he visited the heavens and hells of the earth accompanied by an angel of God. During the testimony with incidental footage of the resurrection during a large evangelistic meeting, the pastor incidentally states that he will now be extremely careful not to give room to anger and quarrels with his wife, because he values his place in heaven very much and does not want to lose it. The last statement becomes clear if you find out information that was not included in the film, namely, that the angel told the pastor that he was not going to heaven at all, but to hell, because on the eve of the accident he had quarreled with his wife and did not repent...

I see in these words of Jesus not some kind of classification, but this: for any vain anger there are already automatically consequences; If you go a little further in this anger, these consequences become simply catastrophic!

In other words, Jesus showed here how as anger gradually increases, its consequences also increase disproportionately. At first, the person simply grumbles, then he seems to get a little heated, and then he no longer notices how he is crossing the line of hell. If you don’t believe it, carefully re-read the Lord’s words again.

Paul mourned Christians who reserved the right to anger, although outwardly they still remained believers and led a church lifestyle:

This is why anger should not be allowed to come out under any guise.

Today, those who have come under the influence of worldly psychologists agree that it is harmful to suppress anger, it must be given an outlet. Supposedly it’s useful to “let off steam.” Otherwise, they say, the person will fall into long-term stress. This is like saying: if you are persistently tempted by sin, just satisfy it.

What can you say to this? Even if there is someone who gets rid of stress on earth in this way, the longest lasting stress will be later, in hell. That is why those who are Christ's crucified the flesh with passions and lusts.

5 tips from the Word on how to tame anger:

1- repent.
2- goodbye.
3- crucify the flesh by faith.
4- Be saturated with the Spirit.
5- leave communication with the angry one.

1 - repent

In every case of anger, quarrel, discord, especially family discord, one must repent and ask for forgiveness. Repent before God and ask for forgiveness from the one with whom we are angry.

How to ask for forgiveness? For example: “please forgive me, I was unrestrained, I gave way to anger, I did not act out of love.”

You cannot justify anger by shifting the blame to the person who turned out to be the instigator. If you succumbed to provocation, then you are also to blame. The other side may be guilty as the initiator of the scandal, but this does not justify you.

Ignorance of the law does not exempt us from consequences, so we also need to repent for those situations that occurred in childhood, when violence was used against us, and we snapped or became rowdy. You never know what we didn’t know then how to react correctly. We were nevertheless damaged. Just ask Papa God for forgiveness that you were angry back then.

2 – goodbye.

What you definitely cannot do without in order to tame anger and get rid of its consequences is forgiveness. Be generous and forgive the offender, because much has been forgiven to you too.

Not to forgive means inevitably to take revenge. Even if it’s just a dissatisfied attitude, which is still poison.

Anger causes damage. Damage to the soul, damage to the spirit. Forgiveness, on the contrary, leads to their healing. Vengeful is also angry. To harbor revenge is to cultivate the character of the devil, not of Jesus.

When you take revenge for yourself, even with an angry attitude, you do not allow God to protect you. And when you forgive, the whole sky stands up for you. Therefore, do not hold on to a sense of wounded justice.

A PERSON WHO HAS SUFFERED VIOLENCE IN A CHILDHOOD MUST ALSO FORGIVE PARENTS AND RELATIVES. VIOLENCE ON THEIR PART COULD BE BOTH VERBAL AND PHYSICAL.

THE CHILD DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO DEFEND HIM AND REACTED IN ONE OF TWO POSSIBLE WAYS, EACH OF WHICH DAMAGED HIM IN ITS OWN WAY.

A GROUP OF ANGER DEMONS COULD ENTER IF THE REACTION TO REJECTION WAS AGGRESSIVE.

AND IF I WAS PASSIVE, THEN OTHER DEMONS INVATED: A PERSON USUALLY HAS A FEELING OF GUILT AND AN INFERIORITY COMPLEX WITH THIS REACTION.

3 - crucify the flesh.

We must crucify the flesh by faith on the cross of Jesus and not give it the slightest chance to manifest itself. In this type of fight against anger, one cannot do without prudence and condescension.

4 - be filled with the Spirit.

What will help you remove the tendency to be angry is the help of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, be saturated with Him. This will take time. And a lot...

If you pour a glass of water onto a sponge, the sponge will remain almost dry, but if you pour the same amount drop by drop, gradually, the sponge will become completely saturated.

How to be saturated with the Spirit? By concentrating on God, you can lie down. Reflecting in silence on His goodness and beauty.

This is how you begin to allow perfect peace into yourself and let go of anger. And then nothing will touch your heart the way it did before.

By being saturated, you are sanctified by the Spirit. When you become sanctified in this way, peace increases in you, which will drive out the remainder of anger.

Slow to speak does not mean slow to speak any words. If the words are good, let them come out of you in any quantity. We are talking about words of anger. That is, if you want to be slow to anger, be slow to express angry statements. The feeling of anger will not immediately become a sin if you do not give it an outlet. What has been said does not mean that we must put up with the feeling of anger all the time, but that even if we have not yet splashed out our feelings, we must quickly extinguish them within ourselves.

What if you have already opened your mouth and given yourself the will to speak out? Well then you're definitely in trouble. What difference does it make, big or small? Until you repent.

Therefore, choose to become a person about whom they say: “you’ve got water in your mouth,” they provoke you, but you remain silent. No matter what happens, you keep it all together and keep your mouth shut. The Holy Spirit will help you become this way. Especially when you are saturated with Him without missing out on opportunities.

To engage this restraining lever, simply tell yourself:
-I deny myself the right to speak in anger,
-I deny myself the right to the last word,
-Holy Spirit strengthen my decision in the mighty name of Jesus.
Dad will only be pleased with such words.

It's the same if you experience fear or doubt. You can feel both, but as long as you confront fear and don't give room to doubt, as long as you don't allow it to build a nest in your mind, you are still in faith, you are still victorious.

Once a missionary in India baptized a Hindu soldier. That one was big strong man, a first-class wrestler. All his friends were afraid of him. But after being converted, the lion turned into a lamb. A few months later, one of the soldiers began to laugh at him: “Now we will find out if you are a true Christian.” Taking a cup of hot soup, he poured it on his chest. Everyone in the room held their breath, waiting for the unbridled outburst of anger for which the convert was famous. But instead, he calmly unbuttoned his vest and wiped his burned chest. Then he turned calmly and said, “This is what I should have expected. Having become a Christian, you also become persecuted. But my Savior was patient, and I want to be like Him."

5 – leave communication with the angry one.

Prevention of anger is to stop communicating with the angry person.
Friendship with an angry person is a snare of the devil.

That is, you need to stop being friends with someone who constantly scolds others in your presence. Such friends are catalysts for your anger. They change your attitude towards people and subsequently cause many troubles.

If people do not change, such ties must be broken. Don't say: how? be left without a friend? It’s better without such a friend now than later without the Best.
