Ballad of the Dragon. Part one. There lived a valiant dragon in the world and he gave birth to 12 children, 12 sons and daughters. But the children were his people, who carried the blood of the dragon within them. This is how the whole human race went, but not everyone retained their knowledge. And the dragon taught them to bring light and knowledge, to love all the people who live on earth, despite the suffering they brought. There was only one secret, that those who carried the blood of the dragon were difficult people, and they had special knowledge. But let us remind you that someone completely forgot that the human race came from dragons. Their dragon father was very old and he poured his strength into giving birth to the last generation in the midst of despair, which, behind the haze of centuries, would preserve its knowledge between deaths and storms. To each his own, but in general he bequeathed one thing to everyone to love and open their hearts, and do good and teach others wisdom and knowledge! Let us remind you that good is not something that is thoughtlessly given, which means it can be delivered through war. The dragon and his children. The dragon was scarlet, and a brave warrior. And on his coat of arms he stands with a sword, the sword is entwined with his tail, and not for the glory of vanity, but for his children, a reminder. The dragon himself is wise and taught children to exchange knowledge. The first son is cunning and interpreted the sign as the lord of the flame. The second son was strange, ardently convinced that people are capable of accepting the dragon's instructions. The third was blinded by the flames of the first son, and the dragon’s father was not against him accepting his knowledge. The dragon had three more daughters. All three followed the first brother, but the first, having spent several evenings with her father, was in love with him with daughterly love. But she kept her oath and did not leave her brother, adhering to an equal. The second daughter was between the two brothers like between fires and was faithful to the first, and made a promise to the second, but the first brother was a cunning one, the second was considered a scoundrel, and took her love for himself. The third sister had a character, and she disliked the first brother in advance, and from his anger, her father protected her and took her under his wing with desire. The rest of the children, too far away, dispersed throughout the world, sprouting from the flames. Dragon's Blood.||| Part. Dragon blood slept in the children, waiting for the moment of action. For them, a different law was introduced among the living; they were distinguished by the habits of the banner. All the people did not like them, fearing the remnant of the flame. They walked through pain, but the dragon taught them not to lose faith, but the boundaries of their faith were thin and unsteady. A sprout, a secret source of unknown power, broke through into their difficult everyday life. The whole world has broken, allowing it to accept the mysterious essence of knowledge. They opened their doors towards the subtle world, and met there as their father’s knowledge had bequeathed to them. But people still did not accept the world... The dragon was wise, and he understood that the children’s expectations were darkened. People are stingy, have little generosity, and are sometimes prone to crime. With his warm wing and wonderful kindness, he attuned the children to the light. Give up self-interest, fight the darkness, not meeting people's expectations. Come out into the light, there are no enemies around and preach knowledge!

This is interesting:
The first written mention of the medicinal properties of the Croton lechleri tree and its resin was recorded in Indian writings of the 16th century. For centuries, Peruvian Indians used Dragon's Blood to stop bleeding, disinfect wounds and speed up healing.
The tree itself belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family, scientifically Croton lechleri, Croton salitaris or Croton planostigma, and popularly Sangre de Drado or Dragon's Blood. It grows in the central part of the Peruvian jungle.
Tree resin is used to make our extract. An adult tree grows up to 25 meters, having a trunk with a diameter of up to 35 centimeters.
The Indians also used the resin internally to heal internal bleeding, ulcers, accelerate the healing of bones during fractures, and treat viral diseases and a general increase in immunity.

Historically, resins and juices of various plants are called “dragon’s blood” in different parts of the Earth. It seems that the first to receive this name was the resin of Dracaena vermilion (), which grows on the island of Socotra in the Indian Ocean, between Yemen and Somalia. The Socotra residents themselves called this resin “phoenix blood” or “brotherly blood.” The name “Indian cinnabar” was also popular. The resin of the Dracaena cinnabari tree was apparently called “dragon’s blood” by the Greeks or Romans.

Dracaena vermilion, Fr. Socotra

Then this name passed into the languages of the European peoples who inherited the Roman Empire. It was especially entrenched among the Italians (Sangue di Drago), who actively used “dragon’s blood” in the varnishes with which famous Italian violin makers covered their masterpieces, and among the Spaniards (Sangre de Drago), who in the vast expanses of their colonial empire, namely In the Canary Islands, as well as in South and Central America, many more plants were discovered that produce the same thick red juice or resin. Of course, they also, by analogy, began to call these juices and resins “dragon’s blood” - Sangre de Drago, so not only the resin of the cinnabar-red dracaena became the “dragon’s blood”, but also the resin of the dracaena dracaena and the resins of many species of the genus Croton.
Meanwhile, China had its own dragons and its own dragon’s blood: there this name stuck to the blood-red juice of several plants of the genus Daemonorops. When Chinese goods began to reach Europe, along with tea and carved miniature bone figurines, traders brought the local “dragon’s blood” from there.
In Sumatra, the Moluccas, and the Malay Peninsula, red resin is collected from fruits. Here this resin has proper name- jerang, - which has nothing to do with dragons and denotes this very red resin. But, it’s difficult to say whether it was thanks to the Europeans, the Chinese, or both, that the “dragon’s blood” combination leaked here. So the Indonesians and Malays export this resin also under the name “dragon’s blood”.
Finally, people in Texas and Mexico call dragon blood sap. Because it's red too.

Rattan palm fruit

Every single one of these juices and resins has been used since time immemorial as dyes and as medicinal plant raw materials. With any “dragon’s blood” someone is healing or trying to heal something. But when a person himself goes into a grove or into the jungle, cuts the bark or resinous layer of the fruit himself, and collects the resin or sap himself, he can be sure of what he is dealing with.

Otherwise - in places where none of the listed plants grow. For example, in Russia. Or in Europe. People order red grains or red liquid in a bottle over the Internet - and in appearance, “dragon’s blood” from demonorops or dracaena is indistinguishable from “dragon’s blood” from croton. It’s not for nothing that they have the same names.

The trouble is that not everyone understands that completely different things and phenomena can have the same name. And that very similar things can act very differently.
Meanwhile, some online stores (especially Chinese) sell something called "dragon's blood" without specifying what plant the product comes from. And is it important! Why? Because the resins of different plants have different compositions and, accordingly, can affect the body differently. Thus, the resin of Croton Lechler (“dragon’s blood” according to the Peruvian-Ecuadorian version) is often used as a liquid bandage, it strengthens the gums, and is also taken orally to treat ulcers and diarrhea. The juice (“dragon’s blood” in Texas) also works as a liquid bandage, but it is not taken orally. Moreover, it is believed that if taken internally, it can cause severe pain and vomiting. “Dragon's blood” from, growing in Socotra and the Canary Islands, can heal wounds; it is also used internally, also to treat ulcers. But the juice of demonorops most likely will not be able to stop the bleeding, and even on the contrary, it may increase the bleeding. When taken orally for an ulcer, it can cause internal bleeding. It is very dangerous. At the same time, “dragon’s blood” in Chinese stores with a high probability may turn out to be demonorops resin.

Dracaena cochinchinensis

Although it may have a source from another plant widespread in China - Dracaena cochinchinensis. Be that as it may, if you intend to take dragon's blood as a dietary supplement, you should be careful and clarify which plant resin you are talking about and what properties it has.

Unfortunately, some popularizers of “dragon’s blood” themselves do not understand well what they are writing and mislead others. On the Internet you can easily find articles claiming, for example, that more than 60 studies have confirmed the healing properties of “dragon’s blood”, and then listing some incredible number of healing properties, sometimes opposite to each other (as in the famous sketch with Leonov in the hospital: “Dilates blood vessels , narrows down any..."). And all with links to research. And these studies were actually carried out. And indeed the results shown. But these were studies of material from DIFFERENT PLANTS. And if a study has confirmed the healing and antidiarrheal properties of the resin of Croton lechleri, this in no way applies to the juice of Jatropha dioica, and if the study has found radioprotective properties in the resin of Dracaena cochinchinensis, this does not apply to the resin of Calamus rotang or Daemonorops draco.
Do not buy "dragon's blood" from sellers who cannot accurately indicate which plant it comes from. Take care of yourself.

Dragon's blood is a solid red resin, tasteless and odorless, soluble in alcohol, carbon sulphide, chloroform, petroleum oils, almost insoluble in ether and turpentine. East Indian dragon's blood is obtained from the surface of the fruit of the palm Daemonorops draco; West Indian dragon's blood - from cuts in the bark of Dracaena cinnabari (cinnabar dracaena, formerly known as Pterocarpus draco).

The resin of the relict Dragon tree is considered sacred and is given to a person to solve his life issues. This is real mysticism, shrouded in legends and myths. Has unique energy and medicinal properties. Throughout the Middle East, this resin is considered one of the strongest for protecting people and their homes.

Oil and resin are used to protect against dark forces, cleansing the room and a person’s aura from bad influences and looks. Women and men in the East use oil and resin to attract love and passion, wealth.

For women, the use of oil and fumigation with resin will help solve hormonal issues, rejuvenate the body as a whole and help solve the problem of infertility. A woman who uses dragon's blood oil is like a flower that opens only at night - it emits a pleasant sweetish aroma that attracts moths.

Dragon's Blood bestows men with strength and power. It cleanses the heart and soul!

In the East, oil and resin have long been carried around in bags - so-called natural talismans. A few pieces of resin are placed in a small bag that a person can always carry with them, or a napkin is soaked in oil. The same pieces of resin are placed under the bed, and special attention is paid to the newlyweds’ bed.

Such simple rituals protect a person’s energy, strengthen it, and protect it from the evil eye. They attract love and strength into the home.

Dragon's blood oil and resin are of course bound by Love! One of the ancient legends tells about a beautiful girl and a brave young man. When they first saw each other, they fell in love! But the girl turned out to be the daughter of the powerful Wadi, an influential priest. While the young man was a poor warrior with a brave heart.

Despite the obstacles, the love of the young people flared up more and more and they could no longer live without each other. The young man gathered his courage and decided to ask Vadi for his daughter’s hand in marriage.

But, having learned about the young man’s intentions, Vadi became angry. In a rage, he grabbed a dry, lifeless stick lying nearby and stuck it into the ground with the words: “I order you to come here to this place every day for five days - you will water this dry stick with water. And if even one green leaf appears on it, I will give you my daughter as a wife. But: if after five days the stick does not come to life, you will be sacrificed for your insolence and violation of traditions!”

The young man thought that he was dead, because the stick had long dried out and did not retain a drop of vital juices. In anguish, but with faith in his heart, he came every day and poured water on a dry stick, as Vadi commanded.

And - lo and behold! On the fourth day, a timid green sprout appeared on the dry tree. Not believing his luck, on the fifth day the young man ran to Wadi at dawn and he saw a magical picture: the entire stick from top to bottom was covered with dense green leaves.

And Vadi gave the go-ahead for the marriage! The young couple got married and spent their entire lives going to this tree, nicknamed the Dragon Tree, giving thanks to God for the happiness he had given them.
