Simple fortune telling for the future
Take a full deck of thirty-six cards and shuffle thoroughly, concentrating on your own thoughts and desires. Then start opening one card at a time from above, saying to yourself: “Ace, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, jack, queen, king.” Without stopping opening the cards, after the king, continue the list, starting again with the ace. Put those cards that match the names in order aside.
When the deck runs out, start revealing the cards from the beginning without shuffling them and continuing to say the names in the same order.
Having done this three times, put the rest of the deck aside and begin to interpret the meaning of the matching cards based on their combination with each other.
Fortune telling for a person
This is a fairly simple fortune telling that will help you characterize a person. Find a Gentleman in the deck if you are fortune telling for a man, or a Lady if you are fortune telling for a woman, and place the desired card in the center of the table.
Focus on the image of this person. Then carefully shuffle the remaining cards and randomly draw three cards from the deck, which you place around the key one. After this, you can open the cards and see their meaning.
Fortune telling for a wish or for the future
This is a rather interesting way of fortune telling. Take a deck of thirty-six cards and choose the card that corresponds to the current hour, i.e. desired number. The central card will be the one drawn first. Place the deck face down, remove twelve cards from above, and place the thirteenth under the central one - this card will be responsible for the past. After this, shuffle the cards, take out the thirteenth card again and place it to the left of the central one - it will show the events occurring in a person’s life in the present. After counting the next thirteenth card, place it on the right - it will also indicate the present. And finally, the last card drawn in this way must be placed on top of the central card - it will represent the future. When the cards run out during the countdown, you will have to take the ones that have already been worked out and, shuffling them, count out the thirteenth card from their number.
Fortune telling by wish
Shuffle the deck of thirty-six cards very carefully and, having made a wish and concentrating on it, draw one card at random, which will be the answer to the question you asked and will tell you whether the wish will come true.
Fortune telling for search
This layout is specifically used to help find something lost, be it a person or a thing.

The First House is the personal space of the one who has lost something.

This is a fairly simple fortune telling that will help determine what to expect in the very near future - a kind of forecast for the day. Shuffle the cards thoroughly and place them all in a circle clockwise. Then focus on your desire to know what you can expect from the new day and open the card that you are drawn to.
By interpreting the meaning of the selected card, you can determine what awaits you that day.
Alignment for a new person entering life
Very often, when meeting or meeting someone, a person wonders what impression he made, what to expect from a new relationship, what other people think about it, what can happen in terms of feelings, friendship or partnership.
Lenormand cards will help answer these questions. To do this, you need to relax, clearly formulate your question and shuffle the cards.

This layout is more complex, has separate interpretations and includes two methods.

Usually the gypsy layout gives a lot of information, and from this it follows that it is quite enough to lay out the cards in one of two ways and just carefully interpret their combinations. Before you start fortune telling and lay out the cards, you must make a guess for the specific time period of interest. And only after this can you begin to carefully shuffle the cards, remove them and lay them out according to one of the above-mentioned schemes.
How to lay out the cards - opening them immediately or first face up, and only then opening them - is not of fundamental importance, it is a matter of personal preference and habit.
In the Gypsy reading, less attention is paid to how the cards are combined. Here it is much more important to consider in which House the card is located. Thus, the interpretation of fortune telling depends not only on which House the other card is combined with, but also on the direction in which it is located. You need to count in order, starting from the very first, top left card and moving to the right.

When the card is at the top, emotions play an important role in a person’s life. Moreover, they guide him and influence absolutely everything he does.
The placement of the form below, on the contrary, will tell you about a person who is guided by logic and makes reasonable, well-informed decisions. But sometimes this can mean that a person is thinking too much, which causes unnecessary doubt and procrastination.
7. The next step will be to look at your personal and financial areas. Look for this information in the relevant Houses.
8. To see how this or that situation will change, you should make a “knight’s move” from the desired card, that is, mentally draw the letter “G” and read the combination of cards. They will tell you exactly in what manner events will develop.

In other words, the card that was in ninth place needs to be moved up to the place after eighth. The cards of the second row will move only one, i.e. where the ninth card was, the tenth will appear. We count the next twelve cards from the top of the deck and place the thirteenth to the left of the center (card 3). We place the stack of counted cards again under the deck.
Again we count twelve cards and place the thirteenth card to the right of the center (card 4).

Yes Yes! This is such a long name (and all methods have their own name). But very interesting and accurate. I've been using it for several years now. But to be honest, I don’t remember where the book came from. I was just one day looking for a collection of prayers on the bookshelves, and I came across a thin book with that title. "Wow! - Think. – Somehow I don’t know this fortune-telling. Need to try!" I’ve been “trying” that way ever since.
The results obtained from this fortune telling can be amazing, especially when you see your own or someone else's past. I always work with cards in my own way. In this fortune-telling, I also went my own way. I will tell you both, and you will choose the one that suits you.
Lenormand advises guessing this way. Take a deck of 36 cards and shuffle it 9 times. Then move the top card to the bottom of the deck. Since we need the time at which we tell our fortunes, look at the clock. Look at what hour is running out (the table is attached below). Turn the deck towards you with the pictures and go through the cards, without confusing them, finding the three cards you need. For example, at one o'clock in the afternoon you need an ace of clubs, a nine of diamonds and a nine of spades. As you come across them, you place them separately. Place the one you came across first in the center of the layout. Just put the other two aside; they will not participate in fortune telling. Without shuffling, you begin with your right hand - the deck in your left hand, the cards wrong side up - counting out twelve cards, placing them face up on the table. Place the thirteenth card under the central one. This will be the past of the one to whom we tell fortunes.
Do not shuffle the counted twelve cards and place the rest of the deck under them. Count out twelve cards again and place the thirteenth to the left of the center card. She is the present. Next, the rest of the deck is again placed under the cards that were on the table. And again you count twelve cards, the thirteenth to the right of the central card.
These three cards are the present. And again - a deck for the remaining twelve cards. We count twelve cards, the thirteenth from the top. This is a map of the future.
I do this. Naturally, I also shuffle nine times. I don't put the top card on the bottom of the deck. Then I turn the deck over to face me and, turning over the cards with my right hand, I find the one that comes up first at the given time. (I did not remove the top card of the deck.) Then I turn the deck face down and with my right hand I count twelve cards, placing them one by one on the table. I put the thirteenth under the central one. Then I put those cards that are on the table under those that are in my left hand. And again the countdown, as already written. First the left card, then the right. Then - the top one. All of them are thirteenth.
I checked according to the description of the past. My method is more accurate. And the past that is obtained from the first description does not fit into any gates. But check for yourself. The hands move as they really should.
A total of five cards are involved in fortune telling. We read their description. For the bottom and top cards there is one text, and for the central ones the text is divided into left, right and central parts. Central map belongs to what is in the bottom paragraph.
Very often, almost always, when I turn the deck over to find the right card, it lies first, second or third. And I think that's great! The “knead” turns out to be very accurate. And here’s something else I noticed during the fortune-telling process. Sometimes it happens that the clock says half an hour after two. It is difficult to say what hour is running out. Determining time has its own characteristics. It is necessary to check the temporary meanings of cards and layouts based on events that have already occurred. Time Lenormand by Iris Treppner
If the time of an event in the Great Lenormand layout is determined by the House in which the significator cards and event cards are located, then you can use the Iris Treppner method, see table No. 4. 1. TRADITIONAL (GRANDMOTHER) METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE TIME OF AN EVENT IN LENORMAND
This method is not only the simplest, but probably also the most “ancient”. Its origin can obviously be traced back to the practice of fortune telling. playing cards oh, and it is based on determining the predominant suit in the layout. As you remember, on each Lenormand card there are symbols of playing card suits, so we focus our attention on them when using this method. At the same time, we establish in advance the correspondence of the suits to the seasons of the year:
- Club suit - spring
- Hearts suit - summer
- Spades suit - autumn
- Diamond suit - winter.
Next, we calculate which suit predominates in the layout. For example, if most of the cards in the layout have playing symbols of the Spades suit, then the event will occur in the fall, if the layout has the most red cards of the Hearts suit - in the summer, and so on.
Despite its simplicity, the disadvantages of this method include the fact that one specific suit does not always predominate in the layout. Consequently, there are cases when it is simply impossible to use this method.
2. CALENDAR YEAR METHOD
This method is based on the very clear observation that 36 cards of the Lesser Oracle of Lenormand are easily divided into 12 (the number of months in a year) and another three - ten days of the month. Thus, if we start counting the time of the year from January 1, and count the Lenormand cards from the Horseman - the first card of the deck, then it turns out that each card controls its own decade of the year (see. Column I Method by Laura Tuan, in the Table at the end of this article).
The calendar method has two uses:
- when the time is determined by the summing card or by the final card - if we are doing a small spread - we can calculate the points for all cards, sum them up, and convert them into a Lenormand numerical value. We will receive a card number indicating the ten days during which the event of interest to us will occur. Or, if the “final” card is used in the layout, then it will indicate the time of fulfillment of the forecast.
- when, to determine the time of an event, we ask a separate question and pull out ONE card from the deck - it will indicate the period of ten days in which our forecast will come true.
The second option, in my opinion, is not only simpler (does not require tedious calculations), but also more accurate.
3. METHOD OF ASTROLOGICAL CORRESPONDENCES
This method is again tied to dividing 36 cards into 12 months with three decades in each. But unlike the simple and logical countdown from January 1, this technique is based on the correspondence of the Lenormand Oracle cards with the Zodiac Signs and their decadal planetary rulers. In this case, the countdown does not start from January 1, but from the conditional date of the entry of the Sun into the sign of Aries - the first astrological month, i.e., the interval from March 21 to April 20 passes under the Sign of Aries, which is successively assigned three cards from the Lenormand - Horseman deck , Clover and Ship. And so on, see Column II of the Table.
The main disadvantage of this method is the lack of connection between Lenormand cards and Astrology, as well as, in my opinion, completely unnecessary complication - it is much easier to use the simple and logical Calendar Year Method described above.
4. METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE DATE OF COMPLETION OF THE FORECAST according to CAITLIN MATTHEWS
I quote this method from the book (or accompanying instructions included with the cards) by Caitlin Matthews for her deck. The attractiveness of this author’s method is that you can find out not only the time or timing of the occurrence of an event with specific questions starting with the word “When...?”, but also find out the probability of the very fact of the occurrence of this event. True, you need to make a separate layout, but still it will not have a structure temporary schedule! For example, if you need to find out whether a certain person will return, then using the Caitlin Matthews method, you can find out to what extent the return itself is likely (are there any chances of seeing the desired person again:), and if the cards “say” in the affirmative, then find out the time of appearance a person before the bright eyes of those who so hope for his return :)
The sequence is as follows. We use two significators: the significator of the person for whom fortune telling is being done (Child, Man, Woman; for example, if we are telling fortunes for a woman, we take card 29 Woman) and the significator of the question, in accordance with general rules of signification in the Lenormand System(those meanings of card signification that I give in the study group in the first lesson!). Then, having mixed the cards well, accurately representing the topic of fortune-telling or focusing on the question, we lay out the cards in the sequence of the Great Lenormand Layout (it is preferable to use the German version of the Great Layout). Having laid out all the cards, we find our significator of the question, and look at what “house” it is in and how far it is from the person’s significator.
For example, you want to find out when your wedding will take place, and you are a girl :), i.e. For you, we will use card 29 Woman as a person’s significator. We wish for card 25 RING as a significator of the question of a wedding. We shuffle the cards, lay them out in the Big Layout, and find where the significator of the question regarding card 29 Woman is - far or close and in which “house”. If the Ring is two or three cards away from the person’s significator, we interpret the event as “ close"(if there are more than three cards at a greater distance, then we use the value " far"), and find the value "close" in the third column Tables(at the end of this article), according to the "house" location. For example, the Ring was two cards away from the Woman and in the “house” of the Broom card - the wedding, according to this method by Caitlin Matthews, is likely to happen in September :)
According to Caitlin herself, this method was also created based on the meanings of playing cards. There is no obvious logic in it:) accordingly, you will have to memorize the values or use a table every time. Moreover, if for the meanings “close” Matthews almost always gives standard time notations, then for the meaning “far” the answers are, to put it mildly, paradoxical (see for yourself, in the Table, column III) and for the most part have nothing to do with what -or temporary categories, but have semantic or event content. Therefore, do not be surprised if, when asked about the time to get a job, you receive an answer worthy of a “Chinese cookie” - “...to go astray...” And think later... that this could be :) The third column of the Table.
So, look, experiment and choose for yourself :) which method of determining the time of occurrence of events or the timing of forecasts is most suitable for you.
